JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Stutsman County Auditor and COO Jessica Alonge says everything went smoothly for the June Primaries.
With votes coming through the Jamestown Civic Center and Medina polling locations, Alonge says everything went well.
“The machines worked, no real hiccups except for the Civic Center roof leaking,” Alonge mentioned.
Unofficially, 151 voted at the Medina site with the rest coming through early voting, absentee ballots, or the Civic Center polling site.
For the Stutsman County Commission, the top six vote-getters will move on if they wish to the November General Election on November 8th. Three seats were up for election and included incumbent Steve Cichos receiving 1,193 votes. Chad Wolsky received 1,151 votes and there were 493 write-in votes.
Of those write-in votes, Alonge says the top four who received more than 3 votes can be placed on the General Election ballot if they wish to do so.

Totals are unofficial at this time until canvassing is done on June 27th.
