JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Stutsman County 4-H will be celebrating a huge milestone at this years Stutsman County Fair June 29-July 2nd.

4-H is the largest and the only research based youth organization in the state and is conducted by North Dakota State University Extension. 2022 marks the centennial celebration of 4-H in Stutsman County.

Brenda Jarski-Weber is the 4-H Coordinator for Stutsman County.

Jarski-Weber says they’re asking any and all past 4-Hers to bring pictures, awards, memorabilia, and anything else showcasing the history of 4-H in the county to the Extension Office. This will in turn be displayed at the upcoming fair.

She pointed out that well-kept records that previous 4-H leaders have documented in past years.

During the showmanship champion round, Jarski-Weber says they’ll be celebrating 100 years of the event as part of the centennial celebration.
