JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – North Dakota’s longest and largest county fair returns to Jamestown June 29 through July 2nd.

Featuring static and animal exhibits, fair games, rides, food, free concerts each night, and more, the Stutsman County Fair has entertained thousands in its 123 year history.

Fair Board President Dennis Mickelson recognized some who have previously served on the board and serviced the fairgrounds.

Exner served on the board for 37 years. Williams served for 21.

In his first year as board president, Mickelson says he has big shoes to fill, but he looks forward to the challenge.

Board member Rod Wilhelm says for the Midway entertainment, they’ve teamed up with First Community Credit Union to bring in Axtell Hands-Free Animatronics.

Live, free concerts will be presented every evening starting with Devon Worley Band on June 29, Johnny Holm Band June 30, Brianna Helbling opening for ZZ3 July 1st, and Out of Line July 2nd.

Wilhelm says another big portion of the fair are the 4-H and FFA exhibits.

A big change to this year’s fair are the Megapass sales. Mickelson says the four-day Megapass ride passes are only available online at stutsmancountyfair.com.

Wilhelm added that with the move to more electronic sales, they’ll also be able to accept cards for gatepasses and ride passes.

Four day admission for adults is $17 and a single day admission is $7 for ages 13 and older. Youth ages 7-12 are $10 for a four day pass and $4 for a single day.

Megapass is $65 and available at stutsmancountyfair.com.
