OAKES, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – One of the final events on day three of the 50th Irrigation Days in Oakes was the Bear Creek Roughriders Rodeo on the west side of town.

There were tons of great events that included the Bareback, Saddle Bronc, Team Roping, Bull Riding, the new Ranch Bronc Riding, Jr. and Sr. Barrel Racing, Sheep Riding, and more.

Folks were treated with tons of sunshine, entertainment, concessions provided by the FFA Alumni and the Beer Garden provided by the Oakes America Legion.

It was all brought to the public by the Bar S Rodeo Company which provided the call and the stock. The folks in attendance were treated to admission fees that are not changed with inflation. It was $10 for adults and $5 for young kids.

Attendance Saturday evening was impressive to no surprise considering how nice the evening was with the temps in the upper 70s and not many clouds in the sky. It made for a fun event for family and friends alike.
