CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Post 25 was down 5-0 heading into the fourth inning, but they score two in the home half of the fourth and then five runs each in the fifth and sixth inning to get the win 12-9 over New Rockford Post 30. Carrington improves to 2-0 overall and 2-0 in District 4 play, NR drops to 0-2 overall and 0-1 in D4 play.

Post 25 used three pitchers, Kael Kovar worked four innings, Kyle Johnson an inning and Grady Shipman the last two. Alex Harrison started for Post 30 and worked four and a third, Luke Yri pitched the last inning and two thirds. Harrison had two hits for New Rockford, Nic Berglund had a single and four RBI. Kovar had two hits at the plate for Carrington and an RBI.

Next up for Carrington Post 25 will be on Friday for their third home game in a row, they will take on Wishek for another District 4 contest, KDAK 1600/100.1 and newsdakota.com will have the game starting at 5pm.
