Oakes Derby 2018

OAKES, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Sno-Buster Demolition Derby caps off the 50th Irrigation Days in Oakes this Sunday, June 12th.

Drew Courtney stopped by the KDDR studio to talk about the event. The demolition derby is raising money which will go back into the community. One of the ways the money will be used is for scholarships.

Courtney said they love getting the community involved in stuff such as raffling off some snowmobiles and doing fun runs during the winter as well.

This Sunday, there will be different classes available. Courtney gave us the details on what to expect.

The Sno-Buster Demolition Derby will be held at 1:00 p.m. about a mile east of the stoplight in Oakes.
