CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Noah Paulson had two of the five hits for Post 25 and he also knocked in two to help Carrington win their first game of year 9-5 over the Nelson County Owls Post 162 in District 4 Legion Baseball action Wednesday afternoon. Carrington is now 1-0 overall and 1-0 in D4, NC drops to 0-1 overall and 0-1 in D4.

Post 25 put up five runs in the home half of the second inning and never looked back. Lucas Hendrickson picked up the victory on the mound, working five innings, 63 pitches, one earned run, six strikeouts, Trent Ekren worked two innings in relief. Cole Hendrickson took the loss, working four innings, eight runs, one earned, two strikeouts. Trae Lillehaugen worked two innings and gave up one run.

Next up for Post 25 will be on Thursday at home against New Rockford Post 30, KDAK 1600/100.1 will have the game starting at 530pm.
