ANAMOOSE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Two people were seriously injured in a crash at the intersection of US 52 and ND 14 early Sunday, June 5th.

The crash happened just before 1 AM when a semi traveling east on US 52 to Carrington struck a pickup that failed to stop or yield at a stop sign at the ND 14 intersection.

The driver of the semi swerved to avoid a collision but struck the left side of the pickup near the driver’s door hinge. The impact pushed the pickup into the ditch. Neither occupant in the pickup was wearing a seatbelt and both were ejected.

A 21 year-old male and 17 year-old male, both from Anamoose, were airlifted to Minot Trinity Hospital with serious injuries. Both were in stable, but critical condition. The semi driver was uninjured.
