VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The police and fire departments in Valley City raised money in April to support the North Dakota Autism Center by selling collector item arm patches with an autism spectrum background.

Valley City Police Chief Phil Hatcher said more than $4,500 was raised locally for the Autism Center in West Fargo.

In the future, Hatcher hopes other law enforcement agencies in the state will participate in this Autism fundraising event.

The local fundraiser was held in April. World Autism Awareness Day is April 2nd. The full interview is below.
