VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 26th annual Dakota Soap Box Derby will be held Saturday, June 4th on Central Avenue in Valley City.
Co-event organizer Melissa Remick said the top racers in the Super Stock and Stock division will earn the right to compete in the International Soap Box Derby next month in Akron, Ohio.
Central Avenue in Valley City will be closed Saturday, June 4th from 8th Street to 4th Street for the Soap Box Derby. There’s no admission, so just set up lawn chairs along the route and enjoy the race.
