
VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City hasn’t seen a trolley used for public transportation for several decades.
On Wednesday, June 1st. a few heads turned when they saw a trolley cruising through town on rubber tires and not on a railway.
South Central Adult Services Transit director Pat Hansen said they ordered a trolley bus in January and it arrived in May.
Hansen said students and seniors may find the trolley a fun and convenient means of public transportation in Valley City.
South Central Adult Services Transit driver Rod Graffing said the trolley was manufactured in Wisconsin.
The new trolley may be a crowd favorite during the upcoming June 18th Rally in the Valley parade.
