VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – It was the final day of school for the Valley City public school district and also, the final day for Jefferson elementary principal Troy Miller. So staff members and students had fun saying their final goodbye on Friday, May 27th.

There were 27 students who were the top fundraisers for the Jefferson PTO Fundraiser. These students each got to put a whip cream pie in Mr. Miller’s face!

The goal was $15,000 and it was exceeded. In raising these funds, Jefferson school will be able to purchase a book vending machine.
