JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Parks & Recreation Department is currently working on adding to the Two Rivers Activity Center site with a new outdoor court complex.

The concept includes the addition of six pickleball courts, three sand volleyball courts, and two bocce ball courts.

Parks & Rec Director Amy Walters says they’re currently in the planning and fundraising stage of the new complex.

The courts complex is anticipated to cost $225,000 with construction scheduled for the summer of 2022. A recent donation by Applied Blockchain and Bitmain has spurred their fundraising, but Walters says they’re welcoming any others to step forward to support the project.

The courts will be constructed adjacent to the Meidinger Splash Park. You can learn more at tracjamestown.com
