JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Darrel Goodroad has owned and operated C/TNT Cards in Jamestown for more than 20 years.

On Tuesday, May 17th, he was the unexpected recipient of a viral TikTok creator’s philanthropy.

Jimmy Kellogg, better known as Jimmy Darts to his 8 million followers on TikTok, has been crowdsourcing money from his viewers and giving it back to strangers who show him kindness.

Goodroad says he was getting ready to close his store for the day when the influencer entered his business.

But it was the response Goodroad got when he gave the cards to Kellogg that left him speechless.

Following the exchange, Goodroad says he spoke with Kellogg, who informed him that he was traveling from Walker, MN to California and had been trying all day to get someone to do an act of kindness.

It was finally in Jamestown at Goodroad’s card shop where Kellogg achieved his goal.

In less than 24 hours, the TikTok video had nearly 1.2 million views and 171,000 likes.

Goodroad says he believes the Lord works in mysterious ways and hopes this inspires others to do something good when presented the opportunity.
