CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Freedom isn’t free. It was paid for by those who gave their life to ensure our freedom is guaranteed.
Carrington American Legion Commander Bob Scott says Memorial Day is a day for pause and to recognize those who gave their life in service.
Scott says members of the community are being asked to help place flags on graves on Tuesday, May 24th at 5 PM in the Carrington Cemetery.
If weather doesn’t cooperate, the alternate date will be May 26th at 5 PM.
