BISMARCK, N.D. (Job Service ND) – More than 150 employers representing a variety of different industries will be online to meet prospective employees from North Dakota and across the United States at the Statewide Virtual Multi-Industry Job Fair sponsored by Job Service North Dakota.
These employers are recruiting for high paying, rewarding jobs.
This is the first time Job Service North Dakota has held a statewide job fair.
The latest Online Job Openings Report, published May 4, 2022, says there are 19,574 online job postings statewide. Healthcare Practitioners and Technical reported the largest number of job openings (3,139), followed by Transportation and Material Moving (1,556) and Office and Administrative Support (1,367). Eighteen occupational groups reported an over-the-year increase in job openings.
In short, it’s a great time to be looking for a job. Job Service North Dakota is committed to serving our residents, but even if all able-bodied North Dakotans of working age were able to join the workforce tomorrow, we’d still have more job openings than people. So, we invite others to consider working in, living in, and loving North Dakota. Partners from North Dakota Departments of Commerce, Tourism, Parks & Recreation, and Game & Fish will be online to share information and access to all there is to see and do with job seekers.
This is a great opportunity for North Dakotans to share with family and friends with ties to the area.
“One of the many advantages North Dakota has to offer is our strong sense of community,” said Job Service North Dakota Executive Director Pat Bertagnolli. “That goes a long way when people are thinking of making a big life change like a new career or a move.”
The event is free and open to anyone with Internet access.
Job Seekers will have the opportunity to explore career opportunities, meet employers, learn about North Dakota and even interview during the event.
