JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The shortages of diapers and wipes in area agencies continues to put strain on families in the region.
The South Central Homeless Coalition Region VI, which serves Barnes, Dickey, Foster, Griggs, LaMoure, Logan, McIntosh, Stutsman, and Wells counties, is seeking diapers and wipes to help fill the need in each county.
Coalition member Cassie DuBray says the last drive in 2018 collected over $5,300 in donations including monetarily, which was then used to purchase supplies.
With the added baby formula shortage, DuBray says this drive is now as important as ever.
She added each donation made will stay in it’s respective region and community.
Supplies, cash, or checks can be dropped off at any of the following locations:
- Stutsman:
- Great Plains Housing Authority: Jamestown
- First United Methodist Church: Jamestown
- First Church of the Nazarene: Jamestown
- NDSU Extension – Stutsman County: Jamestown
- Buffalo Bridges Human Service Zone: Jamestown/Valley City
- Central Valley Health District: Jamestown
- Foster/Eddy
- Central Prairie Human Service Zone : Carrington, New Rockford
- Foster County Public Health: Carrington
- Dickey County Courthouse: NDSU Extension – Dickey: Ellendale ND
- · Barnes
Buffalo Bridges Human Service Zone: Jamestown/Valley City
Monetary donations can also be made online through the Good Network on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/SouthCentralHomelessCoalition or mailed to South Central Homeless Coalition C/O GPHA 300 2nd Ave NE Suite 200 Jamestown, ND 58401.
