JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Parks & Recreation knows this summer will be chockfull of events and utilization of their facilities as Memorial Day quickly approaches.
Executive Director Amy Walters says one of their amenities they’d like everyone to know about is their Community Bike Fleet.
Walters added that groups or individuals can reserve one or the whole fleet for their personal use.
Walters says starting June 1st and every Wednesday after, they’ll be returning their popular youth track meets at the Charlotte and Gordon Hansen Stadium on the University of Jamestown campus.
She added another popular offering that takes off with summer around the corner is swim lessons.
Other summer activities they’re looking forward to is Kite Fest June 10-12 and the Gear Grinder and Trail Run on the Pipestem Trailers.
