From Jamestown Athletics

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (jimmiepride.com)– Three members of the University of Jamestown golf teams were named to the GPAC All-Conference teams as the conference office announced its postseason awards Friday.

On the men’s side, Tate Olson (SR/Cook, Minn.) was an honorable mention choice. Izzy Marchino (SR/Highlands Ranch, Colo.) and Jayme Carlson (JR/Hartford, S.D.) were selected to the women’s all-conference team.

Olson tied for 26th at the GPAC Championship with a score of 233 ( 77-75-81). He posted an average score of 75.53 and won the Jimmie Fall Invite and Jimmie Spring Swing, and placed second at the Spartan Fall Invite.

Marchino tied for 12th at the GPAC Championship, finishing with a score of 346 (82-88-90-86). She averaged 85.00 per round and had six top-10 finishes during the season. Marchino won the University of Mary Fall Invitational and tied for first at the Klocke Family Classic.

Carlson finished 14th at the GPAC Championship with a score of 347 (86-85-93-83). Her average score was 88.83 and she posted six top-10 finishes, including a third-place effort at the University of Mary Fall Invitational.
