JAMESTOWN, ND. (jimmiepride.com) – UJ men’s soccer is excited to announce their first residential camp of Coach Campbell’s tenure July 15-17.

“After having to change our April ID camp last minute due to weather, I’m looking forward to being able to offer this opportunity for potential recruits for the classes of ’23-’26 to get an immersive experience here at UJ. This is a fantastic place to be and I look forward to showing off what we have here and giving insight into the direction of the program and the culture we’re establishing on and off the field.”

The camp will be for current and incoming high school and junior college student-athletes and will involve a variety of sessions and team talks oriented toward preparing student-athletes for the recruiting process, how to prep for the college transition and what types of skills on and off the field to focus on developing to set yourself up for success.

“We want to give as complete of a perspective of what it looks like to be here as possible. As a result, our current student-athletes will be heavily involved not just in the Q and A and tour, but they’ll also be facilitating and participating in the drills so potential recruits get a good perspective on what it would be like to play with some of these guys in the future. Our boys are what makes our program what it is and to not have them involved in a big way wouldn’t fully represent who we are. That, combined with the overnight components and other aspects of the camp will give an immersive experience that can be beneficial for anyone, whether they ultimately choose UJ as their future university or just want a high-quality training experience and some additional input and advice on how to navigate the recruiting landscape.”

The camp will cost $240 and includes housing, bedding, meals and the cost of the sessions themselves. Following the conclusion of the camp, participants will receive a short evaluation with feedback and developmental recommendations within 5-7 days.

There will also be a commuter option for $190 that will not include the overnight housing.
