VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – According to incoming VCHS Activities Director Rob Hunt, the Hi-Liners have named Ty Terry as the new head basketball coach for the Hi-Liners boys basketball team.

On behalf of the hiring committee and the school board, I’m excited to announce the hiring of
Mr. Ty Terry as the new Head Boys Basketball Coach at Valley City Junior/Senior High School.
Ty has been involved with the sport of basketball for over 25 years. As an alumnus of Valley
City High School, Ty helped lead the Hi-Liners to back-to-back state tournament appearances,
was named as an All-State Team selection his junior and senior year, along with being named
North Dakota’s Mr. Basketball in 2000. His background and prior experiences have provided
him with an excellent foundation that is centered upon skill development, core values, and
positive culture.
