VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Valley City man is facing felony Arson and Terrorizing Domestic Violence charges following an incident on May 8th at a Valley City residence.
Police Lt. Dana Rustebakke said just before officers arrived on the scene the suspect allegedly ignited a rug in the building. He said the fire was put up before officers got to the home. Police arrested Erik John Eggert without any further incident.
Eggert was transported to the Stutsman County Correctional facility in Jamestown on Sunday, May 8th.
