Darlene A. Peterson, 80, better known as “Spud”, died Monday, May 2, 2022 at SMP-Ave Maria, Jamestown, ND.

Darlene was born December 7, 1941 in Marion, North Dakota to Franklin and Elsie (Schroder) Peterson.  She grew up on the family farm North of Nortonville.  She attended country school and graduated from Nortonville.  After attending Interstate Business College in Fargo, she worked at NAPA Auto Parts, Hedahl’s and Wonder Bar.  Darlene enjoyed shooting pool and fishing.

She is survived by her sister Deloris Cichos, Pierre, SD; brother Carl (Sally) Peterson, Adrian, ND and several nieces and nephews.  Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, brother Alvin Peterson and brother-in-law Bob Cichos.

Memorial Service: 2 PM, Friday, May 13, 2022 at Eddy Funeral Home with Chaplain Kathleen Heller to officiate.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown.
