VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Hi-Liners tennis team hosted the Fargo South Bruins yesterday. It was Valley City coming away with the shut out victory 9-0.

Coach Nielson had this to say after the victory, “We were the favored team coming into the match-up and our team executed today.  Breck is figuring out when to go for shots.  Olivia continues to improve each singles match.  Abby M played looser and focused on her mental game.  Abby R was hitting her locations beautifully.  Georgia’s opponent was frustrating, but Georgia focused on what she could control.  Kailee played with a new doubles partner and didn’t drop a game.  We did exactly what we were supposed to do.  Nice job Hi-Liners!”

Hi-Liners have a double header today at home starting at 10am.  Up first is a 3-2 non-conference match against Williston followed by an EDC match-up with the Wahpeton Huskies.  It should be another great day to play some tennis!
