JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Stutsman County Park Board got an update from member Bob Martin on the planned releases for both Pipestem Dam and Jamestown Reservoir this week.

Martin says the releases will increase slowly starting Wednesday.

Martin says inflows at Jamestown Reservoir currently sit at 1200 cfs, so it’ll take some time to “catch up.”

He says both Pipestem and Jamestown Reservoir have increased since ice melt.

At this time, the Arrowwood Refuge area near the dam has been filled with water.
