GRAND FORKS, N.D. (NWS) – The National Weather Service has extended their flood warning for Valley City due to continued flooding in the area.
The flood warning will remain in effect until Wednesday, May 4th in Valley City.

* WHAT…MODERATE FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND MODERATE FLOODING IS
FORECAST.
* WHERE…SHEYENNE RIVER AT VALLEY CITY.
* WHEN…UNTIL WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON.
* IMPACTS…AT 17.0 FEET, MAJOR FLOOD. LEVEES AND LOW SPOTS ARE
RE-ENFORCED.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– AT 9:45 AM CDT MONDAY THE STAGE WAS 16.6 FEET.
– FORECAST…THE RIVER IS EXPECTED TO FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE
LATE TOMORROW MORNING AND CONTINUE FALLING TO 14.2 FEET
MONDAY MORNING.
– FLOOD STAGE IS 15.0 FEET
