VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The City of Valley City is asking for volunteers to help patrol the levees over the weekend and into next week.
The levees will need to be patrolled 24/7 and the City is looking at doing 4 hour shifts. Volunteers do need to be at least 18 years of age or older.
There will be a training session Friday, April 29th at the Fire hall in Valley City at 6pm.
Another training session for volunteers is set for 11am on Saturday, April 30th at 11am at the Fire hall in Valley City.
If this is something you would be able or interested in doing, you must attend the training session. Just show up at the Fire hall at 6pm Friday night.
