NORFOLK, Neb.– The University of Jamestown women’s golf team finished sixth at the GPAC Championship, which concluded Tuesday at Norfolk Country Club in Norfolk, Neb.

The Jimmies finished at 265-over, five shots behind fifth-place Concordia (Neb.) Morningside won the team title, finishing at 125-over.

Izzy Marchino (SR/Highlands Ranch, Colo.) was the top UJ finisher, tying for 12th at 58-over 346 (82-88-90-86). Jayme Carlson (JR/Hartford, S.D.) was 14th at 59-over 347 (86-85-93-83), Kyra Vogel (FR/Jamestown, N.D.) was 26th at 71-over 359 (87-90-92-90), and Faith Justesen (SO/Hawley, Minn.) was 38th at 87-over 375 (87-92-100-96). Coley Olson (SO/Cook, Minn.) finished with a second round of 95 (98-95).

“Really proud of this group and how they finished today,” said Jimmie head coach Zach Hale. “They battled a lot of adversity this season, but kept in good spirits and gave it their all. Thankful for everything that Izzy gave to the program the last four years. We will be back stronger and better next season!”
