VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Former NFL player Rob Hunt will become the next Activities Director for the Valley City Public School District starting August 1st.
Hunt was most recently an assistant football coach for MSU Moorhead. Hunt will replace Mike Schultz who is stepping down to accept another position in South Dakota.
Superintendent Josh Johnson said, “On behalf of the hiring committee and the school board, I’m excited to announce the hiring of Mr. Rob Hunt as our new Activities Director at Valley City Junior/Senior High School beginning on August 1, 2022. Rob has had a very successful career in activities, playing and coaching football at the highest levels. His background and prior experiences have provided him with an excellent foundation that is centered upon strong core values, character, culture, purpose, and hard work. Rob and his wife Rochelle reside in Valley City, and they have two children (Dillon and Owen) that attend school at VCPS.”
