JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – When it comes to your foot health, putting the right foot forward in that direction is important.

Central Valley Health District (CVHD) is taking time this month to encourage you to start addressing your foot health. Kim Lee is the Director of Nursing at CVHD.

Lee says there are many common issues you can experience with your feet.

Lee says a lot of foot care starts at home. She says keeping your feet clean and dry, wearing proper shoes that aren’t too tight, not sharing shoes, and trimming toenails regularly are vital for good foot health.

Lee says you should also refrain from trying DIY surgery on ingrown nails.

CVHD Registered Nurses also offers a wide-range of services at their clinic.

To talk to a nurse or schedule an appointment, you can contact Central Valley Health District at 701-252-8130 or visit centralvalleyhealth.org for more information.
