JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Central Valley Health District (CVHD) provided their 2021 annual report Thursday evening as part of the Fire & Police Committee.

Director of Health Promotions Shannon Klatt briefly went through the report, which shares the departments values, priorities, financial report, executive summary and more. Klatt says it also detailed the recent legislative session.

Klatt says they also rely heavily on state and federal funds, but also need support from the city and county.

Total revenue for CVHD in 2021 was just over $3 million with expenses averaging $211,000 a month.

The report provides an overview of how they worked through COVID and the different services they provide to the area. She says they saw a substantial drop in their average monthly nursing services, but are hoping for a rebound.

Councilmember Dan Buchanan and Mayor Dwaine Heinrich thanked Klatt and Central Valley Health for their work during the COVID-19 pandemic and work with other community partners.
