JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)  – Inspired by the famous Color Run, a University of Jamestown group is hosting a similar event on Sunday, April 24th.

The University of Jamestown Exercise Science Club has teamed up with the Jamestown Activities Board (JAB) to put on a community “Run or Dye” event that’s open to the public.

Rae Critchley is a member of the Exercise Science Club and a University of Jamestown student.

The event will raise money for the club and provide a healthy, fun activity for participants. The cost to register is $5 with check-in set for 10:15 AM in the Harold Newman Parking Lot. The run will start at 11 AM. Family, friends, and even dogs are welcome to join in the event.

Critchley says afterwards for both run participants and anyone else, they’ll meet at Allen Field for an after party.
