CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The City of Carrington has agreed to extend their garbage collection agreement with Waste Management to continue providing service to the community.
Mayor Tom Erdmann says the agreement extends the company for another three years.
In other city news, Mayor Erdmann says they’ve rescinded a recent replat they had previously approved.
In Carrington Fire Department business, Mayor Tom Erdmann says all trucks are online according to Fire Chief Ken Wangen. He added they are working with some businesses to help update their fire prevention equipment.
Mayor Erdmann says the Carrington Fire Department Annual Spaghetti Supper is also planned for this Wednesday, April 20th to raise money for a local cause.
Mayor Erdmann says they also discussed area development and projects at the Carrington Airport.
