VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – It’s National County Government Week and this year’s theme is “Counties Thrive”.

The Barnes County Courthouse will have informational displays on all of the flours of the courthouse on Tuesday, April 19th. Walking tacos and ice cream floats will be served April 19th from 11am to 1pm in the Barnes County Courthouse. All are welcome to attend this event free of charge.

And the Barnes County Social Services Donation Drive is accepting new and unopened diapers, wipes, pull ups and formula during the month of April. Drop off your donations at their office in the courthouse.
