Donna Bedker, 66, of Edgeley, North Dakota died on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Sanford hospital on Broadway, Fargo, North Dakota.

Donna was born January 9, 1956; the daughter of David and Ida (Nitschke) Schlenker in Jamestown, ND She attended school in Jud ND and went on to college in Wahpeton. After college she went to work as a bookkeeper for Farmers Union oil in Edgeley. While working there she met the man she would spend the next nearly 43 years with.

Donna married David Bedker on June 3, 1979 at Alfred ND.

Shortly after their marriage they moved to the family farm west of Edgeley and had various livestock enterprises and did various odd jobs. In 1987 Donna and David formed the Bedker Auction service, where until recently Donna did the auction clerk/ cashier duties.

Donna was a very good cook and loved to garden and make silk flower arrangements and other crafts. Most of all she loved to shop for gifts for other people.

Donna is survived by her husband David, her sisters Shirley Kinzler, Jamestown, and Darlene Wegner, Centerville Mn.  Brothers and sisters-in-law Stanley (Donna) Bedker, Iowa, Eunice Thorenson, Jamestown, Gary Bedker, Ca. Kandas (Darryl) Edwards, Edgeley, and Melody (Bill) Gewecke, Wyoming   Her nephew Perry Wegner, Centerville Mn. Nieces Kim Pogue, Wyoming Mn. Gina Kinzer, Fargo, Renee (David) Listul, Jamestown, Michelle (Ray) Hammer, Jamestown, Elena Schlenker, Columbus Oh.  15 nieces and nephews from David’s’ family, and many great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Gordon D. Schlenker.

Funeral Service: 1 pm, Monday, April 11, 2022 at Church of God Seventh Day, Alfred, with Pastor Steve Kyner to officiate.

Burial: Church of God Seventh Day Cemetery, Jud, North Dakota
