VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Sullivan Peterson was selected to be the mayor of Valley City “For A-Day” on April 5th.
The 3rd grader from Jefferson elementary submitted an essay on what he would do if he was the mayor of Valley City. Annual, city officials vote on the best essay out of several submitted to the city by local elementary students.
Sullivan Peterson assisted Valley City commission president Dave Carlsrud with the meeting. When asked what his highlight was for the day, Peterson said getting a ride on a Valley City Fire truck.
