MAYVILLE, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – Five members of the 11A State Football Champion Jamestown Blue Jays were selected to play in the 2022 East-West Shrine Bowl in Mayville on June 18th.

Adam Kallenbach, Preston Kroeber, Devin Beach, Thomas Allmer, and Brode Hillstrom will all represent Jamestown and the 11A West team at the Shrine Bowl. All five seniors were an integral part of the Blue Jays winning their first outright state title since 1937 this past season. Jamestown defeated Bismarck St. Mary’s 41-27 in the 11A title game back on November 12th at the FargoDome.

The Shrine Bowl will be played in Mayville this summer at Jerome Berg Field. Two games are scheduled with an East-West format, the 11 man game at 4:00 and the 9 man game at 7:00. Players will report for practice on June 14th. 2022 marks the 48th annual Shrine Bowl.
