TOWER CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jordyn Ewine has numerous awards and accolades when it comes to rifle competition as a Senior with the Maple River School District.
On April 4th, Ewine accepted an offer from the University of Akron to be on their shooting team. She talked about how much she is looking forward to attending Akron in the fall in 2022.
Jordyn Ewine is an 8-time qualifier for USA Shooting Junior Olympic Air Rifle Competition. She also is a 6-time qualifier for the Civilian Marksmanship Program National 3 Position Air Rifle Championships held at Camp Perry, Ohio. Jordyn also is the recipient of the 2021 ND National Guard Roughrider Award. She received this award at the Annual Governors Ball back on March 19th. Ewine has a lot of experience in traveling for her competitions, she talked about that as well as some of her awards.
Ewine will be going to a University where she already has some familiarity with the head coach. Jordyn spoke about this before officially signing with Akron.
Shooting is something that came very naturally for Ewine. She started at a young age and it was clear pretty quickly that she had found her niche.
The signing ceremony was held in the Maple Valley High School gym in Tower City, N.D. on Monday April 4th.
