VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Four centenarians gave us a small piece of their personal history over the last 100 years recently, in the Chapel at the Legacy Place in Valley City.

Myrna McGregor said during and after WWII, a number of women filled job positions normally held by men. She worked in Yellowstone National Park before getting a job at the Pentagon in Washington.

Ronnie Olson worked as a bank teller in Valley City.

Ronnie Olson will be 102 in May, and Myrna McGregor will be 100 on April 10th.

Lila Bemis is 102, she said she has had a blessed life.

And Evangeline Badger who is 100 said hard work helped her and her family get through the tough times.
