(NDAGCONNECTION) – North Dakota corn stocks stored in all positions on March 1, 2022 totaled 183 million bushels, up 17% from a year ago, according to the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service. On-farm stocks of 96.0 million bushels are up 19% from 2021, and off-farm stocks of 86.9 million bushels are up 15% from last year.

All wheat stored in all positions totaled 132 million bushels, down 33% from a year ago. On-farm stocks of 58.0 million bushels are down 46% from 2021, and off-farm stocks of 73.7 million bushels are down 18% from last year.

Durum wheat stored in all positions totaled 12.0 million bushels, down 31% from a year ago. On-farm stocks, at 7.20 million bushels, are down 40% from a year ago, and off-farm stocks, at 4.82 million bushels, are down 13% from 2021.

Barley stored in all positions totaled 14.2 million bushels, down 42% from 2021. On-farm stocks are 4.10 million bushels, down 67% from last year and off-farm stocks, at 10.1 million bushels, are down 17% from last year.

Oat stocks store in all positions totaled 2.24 million bushels. On-farm stocks of 1.80 million bushels, are down 36% from a year ago. Off-farm stocks were 437,000 bushels.

Soybeans stored in all positions totaled 38.8 million bushels, down 3% from last year. On-farm stocks, at 15.5 million bushels, are down 11% from a year ago but off-farm stocks, at 23.3 million bushels, are up 4% from 2021.

All sunflower stored in all positions totaled 398 million pounds, down 31% from 2021. Oil sunflower stocks are 321 million pounds, down 31% from last year. Non-oil sunflower stocks of 77.2 million pounds, are down 29% from a year ago.
