VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NDHP) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) said alcohol and speed was a factor in a rollover crash east of Valley City near a railroad bridge on Tuesday, March 29th around 7:30am.
The Highway Patrol said the driver, 19-year-old Hunter Gwilliams of Valley City was traveling eastbound at an excessive speed on a gravel roadway in a 1992 Chevrolet pickup. The driver lost control of the vehicle, entered the south ditch of 118th Ave SE. The pickup overturned and came to rest on the driver side. The driver has been cited for DUI.
