VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Icy road conditions and a strong gust of wind led to a crash after a pickup hauling a trailer westbound on Interstate 94 lost control and slid into the median on Wednesday, March 30th just before 11am.
The driver escaped serious injury and was able to drive the pickup back onto the roadway a few minutes after the crash. The trailer came to rest on its side. A light sleet made road surfaces slippery in the region on Wednesday morning.
Barnes County Sheriff’s deputies and Valley City Police assisted the driver at the scene of this crash.
