JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – JHS Drama will present two one-act plays on Friday, April 1st at 7 p.m. in the JHS Theater.

The students have been working on two comedies, Alan Haehnel’s “slasreveR neveS” and the JHS original play, “Again?”

“We’re excited to have the opportunity to share the talents of our students with our community,” Director Tony McIntyre stated. “To be able to put on two fun shows is a great opportunity to showcase how much our students are capable of. ”

27 students have been working on the show for just over a month to be ready for the performances.

“It’s always great to see how the students work with the challenges that different shows present,” McIntyre added.

The cast and crew of “slasreveR neveS” will also perform at the NDHSAA Class A One-Act Play competition in Devils Lake where JHS took first place last year.

“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to see all of the great work that is happening around the state. With social distancing procedures last year, we got to perform but didn’t get to see the other shows in the competition. It’s a great learning experience for our actors.”

Tickets for the evening of one-acts will be $4 for students and $6 for adults. They will be available at the door, and the JHS activity pass will be accepted.
