VALLEY CITY, N.D. (SVCF) – The Sheyenne Valley Community Foundation (SVCF) has welcomed three new members to its Board of Directors: Jill DeVries, Tim Eggert and Erik Gilbertson.
“We are pleased to welcome Jill, Tim, and Erik to our Board of Directors,” says Andrea Nelson, Director of the Sheyenne Valley Community Foundation. “We look forward to adding their professional expertise, knowledge, and vision to help strengthen the impact the Foundation has on the Sheyenne River Valley.” These community members will help to guide and shape the organization through at least one three- year term.
They will replace outgoing board members: Casey Stowman, Sharon Buhr, and James Jensen. “We thank them for their service and dedication to the Foundation over the years,” said Nelson. “Our board members provide expertise, passion, and perspective which impacts the remarkable communities we serve.”
Additionally, the Foundation is pleased to introduce Josh Lagein as new President of the board. Josh possesses a wealth of leadership experience and a passion for positive change. Lagein replaces former President David Beierle who will continue to serve on the Board of Directors as Past President.
The Sheyenne Valley Community Foundation’s Board of Directors is comprised of eleven volunteer members who work to advance the Foundation’s commitment to building philanthropy, increasing the capacity of local nonprofits, and partnering in community initiatives in Barnes, Ransom and Griggs Counties.
