JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Public School Board received more information about a recent CTE grant regarding the James Valley Career and Technology Center(JVCTC).
Recently, Federal Coronavirus Career and Technical Education Capital Projects Grant funds were awarded to the JVCTC. The school received the full $798,700 requested.
Jamestown Superintendent Dr. Rob Lech says this grant covers a vast majority of work under JVCTC.
Dr. Lech added that Assistant Principal and CTC Assistant Darby Heinert had also applied for another grant to further explore more aviation education.
Dr. Lech also shared more information on the facility projects and summer maintenance schedules.
The board also received information on High School Innovation from Principal Adam Gehlhar and a Behavioral Health Challenges and Role of School Resource Officer presentation.
