SIOUX CITY, Iowa– The University of Jamestown men’s volleyball team swept the GPAC’s Player of the Week awards, the conference office announced Wednesday.

Korben Phillips (FR/Western, Australia) was named Attacker of the Week, Caylor Cox (SO/Helena, Mont.) Setter of the Week, and Braden Neumann (SR/Costa Mesa, Calif.) Defender of the Week.

Phillips averaged 2.43 kills per set in helping the sixth-ranked Jimmies to a 4-2 record last week. He hit .464 on 97 attempts and finished with a hitting percentage over .300 in five of six matches. Phillips made only one error with 12 kills on 15 attempts in a sweep of Lawrence Tech.

Cox averaged 10.52 assists per set in six matches played. He had four matches with 40 or more assists, including a high of 47 in a losing effort at Indiana Tech. He also recorded 34 digs on the defensive side and had six aces.

Neumann averaged 2.71 digs per set in six matches last week. He posted double-digit dig totals in four matches, including a high of 14 in a sweep of Division III Illinois Tech.
