JAMESTOWN, N.D (NewsDakota.com) – Jake Hanson almost beat the current record holder for Yellow Perch caught in North Dakota.
Hanson caught a 2 lbs. 12 oz Yellow Perch at 17 inches in Stutsman County on Sunday, March 13th.
The current record was set by Kyle Smith of Carrington, ND in 1982 when he caught a 2 lbs. 15 oz Yellow Perch at 15 inches long in Devils Lake.
