COURTENAY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A stolen vehicle in Devils Lake led to a multi-county pursuit involving different agencies Friday afternoon.

Foster County Sheriff Justin Johnson reports his department was informed of a stolen vehicle traveling on Highway 20 south and was leaving Eddy County and entering Foster County at around 5:30 PM. Speeds in the pursuit remained around 90 mph.

“The owner of the vehicle had been following the stolen vehicle since Devils Lake,” Sheriff Johnson stated. “The pursuit eventually ended when she crossed into Stutsman County and got stuck in a field trying to evade us.”

The suspect was transported to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center for unknown injuries. She will be facing charges out of Ramsey County as the investigation continues.
