MINOT, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – On Friday, March 11, a single engine aircraft experienced mechanical issues Northeast of Minot.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports the pilot made a landing in an open field near 55th St NE and 19th Ave NE.

The Pilot and passenger were uninjured. The aircraft received minor damage during landing.

The incident remains under investigation by the FAA. Other assisting agencies include Ward County Sheriff’s Office, Minot Police Department, Minot Community Ambulance, and Minot Rural Fire Department.
