ST. PAUL, M.N. (USACE) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) selected Rich Schueneman as Civil Servant of the Year in the leadership category.

Schueneman was nominated in recognition of his outstanding service to the Corps of Engineers, their customers and his community. The news release said Schueneman’s long-standing expertise, creativity, unwavering dedication, behind the scenes contributions and trustworthy service have resulted in a level of success across the board that exceeds expectations, all while maintaining his volunteer work in the community.

Rich Schueneman is the North Dakota Flood Control Project Section Supervisor for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and manages Baldhill dam northwest of Valley City.

This is the second time Schueneman has received the Civil Servant of the Year in Leadership Award. The first time was back in 2008.
